Hello, everyone!
We really hope that you have enjoyed the Nuclear Blast festival on Saturday, October 27th. For us, it has been a total blast to see how many of you came and how good the mood was during the entire festival.
Thanks to all of you for making this possible!

All bands, BLIND GUARDIAN as well as DIMMU BORGIR, SUBWAY TO SALLY, EDGUY and KATAKLYSM tried to give their best. For SUBWAY TO SALLY it even was the first show they played for their new album "Bastard". For them all, it was a special opportunity playing in front of a very mixed audience. Black Metal fans were celebrating next to Power Metallers and friends of Medieval influenced music. All musicians have been really impressed by how interested and tolerant different kind of fans spent the evening watching all five bands.
We, in the meanwhile, tried our best to offer you some good surprises in between. As we could see, many of you really enjoyed the Guitar Hero-contest. It was the first finale taking place ever and so everyone was really exited how much you like it.
With the Allstar band we wanted to give you a cool showdown – the RAGE-guys have prepared this gig together with Tobi Exxel from EDGUY, Marcus Siepen from BLIND GUARDIAN, DORO, Schmier of DESTRUCTION and Michael Simon of SUBWAY TO SALLY – and in this constellation, all of the guys have never been on stage before.

We have unfortunately also recognized that there have been several complainings about the security rules – being too strict with how many people could stand in front of the stage – and about the price for drinks and food.
Both things have been under the decision of the venue, so we unfortunately had no influence on it.
For us, the festival in general has been a new experience as we have never organized something like this before. We have learned a lot of things and we are sorry if there were any more situations to complain about – next time we are a little wiser and more experienced for sure!

We hope, that all of you had a great and unforgettable evening anway! We surely had – thanks to you all for making this happen!

Hallo, allerseits!
Wir hoffen, dass Ihr alle ganz viel Spaß beim Nuclear Blast-Festival am Samstag, den 27.10. hattet. Für uns war es ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis zu sehen, wie viele von Euch gekommen sind und wie gut die Stimmung während der ganzen Veranstaltung über war.
Vielen Dank an Euch alle dafür!

Alle Bands, BLIND GUARDIAN ebenso wie DIMMU BORGIR, SUBWAY TO SALLY, EDGUY und KATAKLYSM, haben ihr Bestes gegeben. Für SUBWAY TO SALLY ist der Auftritt der allererste gewesen, den sie für ihr neues Album "Bastard" absolviert haben. Für alle war der Abend eine großartige Gelegenheit, sich einem sehr gemischten Publikum aus Black Metal-Fans, Power Metal-Liebhabern und Freunden von Mittelalter Rock zu präsentieren. Sämtliche Musiker bewunderten nach dem Festival, mit wie viel Interesse und Spaß Fans aller Genres alle fünf Bands angesehen und mit ihnen gefeiert haben.
Wir haben währenddessen versucht, euch obendrein noch einige Überraschungen bieten zu können.
Wie wir sehen konnten, hattet Ihr während dem Guitar Hero-Wettbewerb sehr viel Spaß. Das Finale, das Ihr vor dem Auftritt von DIMMU BORGIR sehen konntet, war das allererste seiner Art überhaupt und was war für uns und alle Guitar Hero-Beteiligten extrem spannend zu erleben, wie es von Euch angenommen wurde.
Mit der Allstars-Band wollten wir Euch noch ein Bonbon zum Abschluss bieten – die Musiker von RAGE haben dafür mit Tobi Exxel von EDGUY, Marcus Siepen von BLIND GUARDIAN, DORO, Schmier von DESTRUCTION und Michael Simon von SUBWAY TO SALLY noch bis kurz vor dem Auftritt geübt – sie haben so in der Kombination noch niemals zuvor zusammen auf der Bühne gestanden.

Leider haben wir auch bemerkt, dass es für Euch einige Gründe zur Beschwerde gab – so waren die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen in der Halle, insbesondere was den Einlass in die vorderen Reihen betraf – extrem streng. Auch die Getränke- und Essenspreise waren manchem von Euch zu hoch. Leider hatten wir auf diese Dinge keinerlei Einfluss.
Da wir zum allerersten Mal überhaupt eine Veranstaltung in der Größenordnung durchgeführt haben, mögen darüber hinaus noch einige andere Dinge nicht ganz so glatt gelaufen sein – wir möchten uns hiermit ganz herzlich entschuldigen! Wir haben an diesem Abend alle sehr viel gelernt.

Wir hoffen dennoch, dass es Euch gefallen hat und Ihr einen unvergesslichen Abend erleben konnte. Wir hatten ihn definitiv – vielen Dank nochmals, dass dies möglich war!

NUCLEAR BLAST is going to celebrate its 20th anniversary together with fans and some of the biggest bands off the label roster!
Beside BLIND GUARDIAN (who have reached #4 in the German charts with their current album "A Twist In The Myth"), DIMMU BORGIR (considered as the biggest Black Metal band ever), SUBWAY TO SALLY (one of the most popular Medieval Rock acts there is) and KATAKLYSM (long time NUCLEAR BLAST artists and Death Metal legend) are going to enter the stage, followed up by one more band plus some very special guests who will be confirmed soon.
